Handmade Market. Led by Michelle Mauer and Christy Wonnenberg.

The team writes:

Each December, we transform the front part of the Church Office into a mini market for handmade items of many different types. These are items that have been created and donated by people in our Church family. All of the money raised from this market goes to our Missions Fund as a way to help reach our financial commitments to our partners. It has blessed us as organizers to see the generosity of those who donate and the joy in people’s faces as they shop. We have had the opportunity to have conversations with people about where the money will go and how it will help people here in our community as well as in other parts of the world.

In the fall of 2023, Pastor Jamie was delegated oversight of Hillcrest Missions. He, along with Finance Director Sharon Lieske, form the Missions Team within the church office. This team has begun leaning into a new vision for the Missions Fund that places priority focus on children, youth and young adults. We continue to value every one of our missions partners, while also seeking in this season to invest in organizations and ministries that are reaching the next generation and equipping them to be on mission for Christ in their personal lives, their spheres of influence, and their community.
