Prairie Gleaners Medicine Hat
Prairie Gleaners is a charitable society located just south of Medicine Hat, AB. We seek to help those in need by utilizing unmarketable produce that would otherwise go to waste. We receive produce from very generous greenhouse owners/operators and farms in Southern Alberta and turn it into a dehydrated vegetable mix which can then be shipped all across the world to feed the hungry.
We are all about feeding the hungry!
Our local facility is being upgraded with a new cold storage building, in the spring the concrete floor will be poured. The new dehydrator is just about ready to be filled and turned on for the first time. This should happen in the next couple of weeks, which will mean we have more drying capacity. The Lord continues to fill our cooler with cabbage, carrots and tomatoes to be made into soup mix, so pray that there will be abundant product created to meet current requests from Cuba and Central America.
On March 27 we will hold our Annual General Meeting. At this time we will elect four people to sit on our Board of Directors. Pray that God will be directing in this process.

Our support directly aids in food, shelter, and education of children, providing college training and job opportunities, and making health care available to those who will otherwise go without in rural parts of India.

As a member of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, HIllcrest partners with our denomination as they develop Global Missions partnerships.
Hillcrest Community Care
Our Furniture Ministry delivers gently used furniture to families in need based upon referrals from local Community Agencies. The Community Care fund also supports our Palliative Care basket ministry and helps.
Rescue Cambodia
We are a haven for orphan and at risk children, families living with HIV/AIDS, and destitute elderly women.
