Reading:

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. (Matthew 7:13–14, NLT)

How to live an invitational lifestyle: (advice from Pastor Jamie)

  1. Start praying about it.
  2. Develop friendships outside your church family.
  3. Share your story. [people can’t argue with your experience]
  4. Find opportunities to bring someone.
  5. Stop assuming people aren’t interested. [they probably are]
  6. Make the invitation.
  7. Success is one person inviting another person. [if you invite 100 people and 100 people say “No” you are 100% successful because you’ve done what God has asked you to do.  At that point it’s between them and God and the Holy Spirit will do His part.]
