Pray, Give, Go. Crossing boundaries to become the literal hands and feet of Jesus investing in the undeserved, marginalized and under-resourced.
Kent and Brenda Royer
Just under 2000 language groups are still waiting for God’s Word in their language. Wycliffe Bible Translators and it’s partners are working to get a Bible translation started in every language that still needs one by the year 2025. Kent & Brenda, as members of Wycliffe Canada, serve in administration roles at the Canada Institute of Linguistics on the Trinity Western University campus, where linguists, translators and trainers are being trained.

Doug and Heather Roberts
Doug and Heather have returned to Ghana for their third term with SIM. They continue to develop ministry that is holistic in nature, meeting human needs, rather than one that focuses solely on theology. In order to do so, they will be partnering with the local church and a Ghanaian lead Christian organization to seek out local community input to develop ministry priorities, goals, and action plans . Some areas of ministry include: child health issues, marriage and family work, literacy, and sanitation and water purification to name a few
Cuba Connection
Hillcrest has been partnering with a Cuban denomination for the past 6 years. Not receiving recognition by the government has provided many challenges for this church. This partnership has been aiming to make the denomination self sufficient as such we have contributed funds to the development of churches, pastors salaries, and income generating projects. This generosity is one that this church would like to repeat for another in the future.
Bridge of Hope, India
This ministry truly seeks to be holistic in nature. They seek to transform their area through developmental projects focused on education, healthcare, job orientated skill training and disaster relief. Projects run are based upon Biblical principal of love and support the growth of the local church. On top of this they are also partners with Compassion International.
Short-Term Trips
As Hillcrest aims to develop long lasting strong partnerships with which we can further the relationship through the sending of short term teams. These teams are not sent out with a “Hillcrest” set of goals and agendas but are done in coordination and in consultation with our ministry partners. Our aim is to support their ministry.
